40th Annual JAWNY Bowl-a-thon

Our signature bowling fundraiser is celebrating its 40th anniversary in spring 2026 and we are excited to announce Transit Lanes as the Premier Bowling Location! For four decades, the JA Bowl-a-Thon has united local companies, coworkers, and community champions for friendly competition with a powerful purpose—empowering students and building brighter futures right here in WNY.

The Bowl-a-thon is a peer-to-peer fundraising event designed to be fun and engaging. Our goal is to build awareness for Junior Achievement, raise critical funds, and encourage team building with participating companies. In 2025, we had ANOTHER record fundraising year and broke the $200,000 mark for the very first time. Over $201,000 raised! Thank you!

Participants raise a minimum of $75 in pledges to help support Junior Achievement programs in our local Western New York schools. JA programs and learning experiences focus on financial literacy, work and career-readiness, and entrepreneurship. With your support, we can foster a world in which young people have the skills and mindset to build thriving communities.
